conch chowder sounds disgusting. the word chowder itself makes me think of some vomit. i can't believe dan will eat this.
a dolphin sandwich sounds okay. i like mahi. i probably would have preferred it in a burrito. i wonder if dan put 'dolphin' to try to throw some people off. mahi mahi is also known as dorado, dan.
key lime π is great, but if i am going to get a dessert it will probably be chocolate. key lime π makes me think of the florida keys.

Well, the reason I used the word dolphin was because that was how it appeared on the menu. I actually had to explain to our family friends that it wasn't actually a dolphin because they were concerned. I also heard my father's friend say something about porpoises vs dolphins and I tried to clarify that it was not a porpoise either and that it was not any sort of marine mammal.
This was more of a manhattan or maryland style chowder vs. a new england. It was red and tomato based and not thick, white, or condimenty the way New England Chowders are. That is not to say I haven't been known to enjoy a nice bowl of thick New England style clam chowder as well.
and finally, i will bring you some key lime pie when i see you in a few weeks, hilary.
dan, i have thoroughly enjoyed your response.
