A Fancy Affair; or: Dan's Dinner of Delight

First of all, I am confused by Dan's afternoon post, the one with the bagel. Mr Ross Goldberg documents that he consumed, "1 Bagel With Cheese and GrapeRoma Tomatoes+ American Cheese." Was the first cheese of the cream variety? If not, why list cheese twice? Also, why does he first use "and" to indicate the addition of tomatoes with this meal, and an addition sign, or a plus, to explain the inclusion of American cheese? Finally, what is a GrapeRoma tomato? I know I am on the internet and all, but w/e. I know of Grape tomatoes, and I know of Roma tomatoes, and anything in between seems like it should have a different name. Clearly this snack left me more confused than anything. Also if it was a plain bagel, :( Bagels should always be flava'd imo.

I'm not really " 'down with" ' " meat with fruit. AKA Salmon + blueberries. One time, I had some fish topped with breadcrumbs and goat cheese + strawberries, and it was f-ing nassty. It may have been the chevre, though, because as far as goat cheese goes, I'm only okay with feta. Also, both chevre and feta are, as previously stated, cheeses from goat's milk, but did you know that chevre is just french for goat? I find that sort of silly. Maybe places are just being really vague when they refer to their cheese as chevre...

Anywho, if you will recall, I had mentioned how DRG and HCS are polar opposites when it comes to their tastes. This post supports this statement yet again. Dr. G says that he ordered the french onion soup just for the cheese. You may also recall my passing distaste for mass quantities of melted cheese masses. To this day I cannot tolerate the cheese layer on FOS, especially with the revolting soggy bread lurking unseen beneath. So, Daniel orders FOS specifically for the cheese, whereas I politely ask for FOS WITHOUT both cheese and sogged breads.

Continuing on... almond coated salmon: I could go either way; blueberry compote: compost; garlic mashed potatoes: A+; asparagus: only good on rare occasions; 1 shrimp: you know; Root beer: very delish and very Dan.

His later snacks again included the mysterious GrapeRoma tomatoes with no space, more blueberry things, and Terra Blue Chips. Terra makes some good other chips, but I don't feel like looking up what they are called. Fruit on the bottom yogurt is really incredibly good to me, and was a staple during my middle school years. It is another thing I wouldn't expect Dr G to eat.

mentioning cheese twice was a mistake in that bagel post. Also the bagel was plain. I have no idea where all of the everything bagels went, but I was expecting to have one of them. Also, GrapeRoma Tomatoes are really amazing and if you see them you should purchase them immediately. They are slightly larger than grape tomatoes and are a product of mexico. That bagel post was just poorly written and I really don't know what went wrong.

I also enjoy the soggy bread in FOS.
