Danny's Got the Blueberries.

July 9th.
How do I Feel about blueberries? Hm, this is a good question. I love fruit, and eat a lot of it. I have actually wondered if there are any fruits I dislike, and while the jury is still out on that, I do know that blueberries do not impress me all that much. It is extremely disappointing to me that they aren't blue inside, and I distrust their sort of mottled, chalky blue skin. However, I would reckon that I haven't had very ripe fresh blueberries in probably some time, so the idea I have of their taste is either bland or too sour. I do like the Post Morning Selects cereal Blueberry Morning, but that is neither Here nor There.

Daniel had blueberries many times today and I realized in reflecting on this that they are not something I would guess Dan was a big fan of. At best I would have wagered that Dan's feelings on blueberries were "ambivalent." I wonder if he became sick of them, as I usually get sick of things.

Homemade waffles, albeit reheated, sound delicious. I was extremely shocked to read that Danny refers to the square depressions in waffles as 'syrup holes.' I always say, 'square depressions,' or 'depressed areas of squarish shape.' Although I might doubt that waffles have this texture for the express reason of holding syrup, since pancakes do not and syrup coats them just as often as it does waffles, they do certainly perform as syrup holders exceptionally well, meaning that I approve of this appellation.
Also, I was impressed by Dansmom's attention to detail, as she placed a blueberry in each of the waffles' depressed areas of squarish shape. This is something I can easily imagine myself doing.

It is also important to note that I am happy Dan is getting his Omega 3's, and that a response to his response to my response on his condimennation is in the near future.

I still think that we could come up with a better name than Pepperidge Farm, or even Pepperidge Pharm. Luckily we have a lot of time for the name to come to us before we live on our farm filled with watusi cattle, fainting goats, llamas, and cephalopods.
